LANGDON — Senior Kendall McAllister was selected as Student of the Month for December. Kendall is the daughter of Meredith McAllister of Charlestown and Wade McAllister of Chester, Vermont. Kendall was nominated by the fine arts department and was described as a “bright student, kind, respectful, considerate, takes responsibility for herself and her learning, one of the top musicians in the band, and student athlete. She demonstrates the FMRHS mindset.”
Kendall is a high honor roll student and very involved in the Fall Mountain community. She received the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of New Hampshire book award. She is a member of Interact and the National Honor Society (president). She is a freshman mentor, member of the jazz band, and in numerous clubs. Kendall has played soccer and softball and is the captain of the girls’ varsity basketball team.
Outside of high school, Kendall works at the Edgar May Health and Recreation Center. Upon graduation, she plans to continue on to college and study international relations – hopefully abroad.
