Sending a message of love and peace

To the editor,

Kudos to Nicole MacConnell for finally putting the Nativity argument to rest. Hopefully, once and for all. Personally, I love seeing the real reason for the season, especially in such an angry, hate-filled world.

Maybe if we hadn’t taken God out of everything, maybe we wouldn’t be in this current mess. Let’s say there is no God, we just go to sleep and that’s it. The end. Well, I’d rather believe in God than take my chances. Simple.

Yes, we have our own opinions, but let them be loving and intelligent. It’s up to us, the individual, to either send a message of love and peace or the opposite. There is no gray area there. Please be a loving and kind person, no matter what you believe. There are enough haters in the world now. I would know. Peace out!

Respectfully,

P.S. We do have a holiday for atheists. It’s on April 1st.
