American Conservation Coalition joins NHFCR Granite List

CONCORD — Today, the New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans (NHFCR) announced that the American Conservation Coalition (ACC) has partnered with the NHFCR by joining the Granite List. ACC is an environmental group that drives for free-market alternatives in the conservation movement. The Granite List is the NHFCR’s premier group of activists and partners for campus involvement and conservative values. Dan Passen, State Chairman of the NHFCR, and Benji Backer, Founder of ACC National, released the following joint statement:

“By having the ACC partner with the NHFCR, it shows that College Republicans value the environment and desire to see conservatives make it a key part of the Republican platform.” Passen said. “With tourism during foliage season being an integral part of the Granite State’s economy, Republicans must work toward free-market initiatives to ensure we maintain the beauty and elegance of our glorious state.”

“The ACC is incredibly excited to continue its partnership with the New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans by renewing its sponsorship on the Granite List.” Backer said. “Thanks to Gov. Sununu and the state legislature, New Hampshire has become a leader in the fight for energy and conservation solutions. Additionally, NHFCR has consistently prioritized these issues and been a steadfast partner with ACC. We are thankful for NHFCR’s leadership on environmental issues and look forward to working together in the future.”
