NEWPORT — Deputy Fire Chief David McCrillis has been appointed Newport Health Inspector by the Newport Board of Selectmen.
His three-year term will run through 2022. As Health Inspector McCrillis will replace Fire Chief Wayne Conroy who will be retiring on Feb. 28.
