Spread the love at the Springfield Library

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Stop by the Springfield Town Library Saturday through Thursday, Feb. 9-14 to make a free Valentine. Materials will be out to create a card for that special someone or to make one for a veteran. We will have a special box for Valentines that will be delivered to veterans at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation.

Another way to spread the love during February? Donate to the library food collection box in the lobby. All donations go to the Springfield Family Center. Mike Weiss, Director at the Center, says the most requested food items are canned tuna, peanut butter, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, and pasta.

Check out our romantic books, DVDs, music, and audio books. Library cards are free to all Springfield residents, Springfield teachers and every Springfield student. Don’t forget to bring proof of residence.

The Springfield Town Library is located at 43 Main Street, Springfield, Vermont. This program is free, accessible to anyone with disabilities and open to the public. For more information, contact the library at 885-3108 [email protected].
