BOYS BASKETBALL
Hartford 53, Bellows Falls 52
BF opened the third with two threes from Joe Terry and a put-back from Isaac Wilkinson for an 8-0 run. Then it went back and forth until the end. “We got down by six with 1:43 left in the game and we put them on the line so they couldn’t run the clock out and it worked,” said BF head coach Ryan Stoodley. Hartford missed a couple free throws and Wilkinson hit a three-pointer to go down by just three points. BF then stole the ball at half court and Joe Terry’s shot hit the rim and went to the top of back board and hit the bar and sunk in the hoop, but the shot was ruled no good. Hartford went up by three with 4 seconds left and BF’s Dylan Clark threw the ball full court to Ryan Kelly who attempted a three-pointer as time was winding down and came up short, and Jackson Goodell got the rebound and layed it in for 2 to lose by one, 53-52. Wilkinson led BF with 17 while Dylan Clark added 11. BF is now 4-9 and play at Leland & Gray on Friday.

We know what we have to fix for Friday, and I liked how our the locker room stayed positive afterwards.”
