LONDONDERRY — On Feb. 5 at 2:10 p.m., troopers from the New Hampshire State Police, Troop B Barracks in Bedford assisted by troopers from Troop G responded to a motor vehicle rollover along I-93 in the area of exit 4. On arrival they found that Jason Burns, 39, of North Sutton had been operating a 1998 S10 Chevrolet pickup truck and lost control of his vehicle. Upon losing control, the truck veered off the left side of the interstate, rolled over and come to final rest in the middle of the interstate. Burns was transported to the Parkland Medical Center as a precaution to be evaluated for minor injuries. The left lane of the interstate in the area of exit 4 had to be shut down for approximately one hour until the scene could be cleared.
Burns was subsequently arrested for driving while under the influence and is scheduled to appear in the Derry Circuit Court on March 29 to be arraigned.
