After a sluggish first half, FM picked up their defensive intensity and rebounded well. “We were able to hold them to one shot and then get out on the fast break for easy baskets,” said FM head coach Justin Cassarino. “When we were down at half, the guys picked each other up and really played as a team. Our bench was loud and kept the energy up for the entire second half, which kept our guys on the floor going. That’s what’s special about this team. They want to help our team be successful no matter what their role is. We have a great group of kids that love being a part of this team.” Owen Marandino led FM with 31 points, Isaiah Silva added 17 and Joey Murdoch added 12.
