GIRLS BASKETBALL

Green Mtn. 59, Woodstock 21

All eight Chieftain seniors scored in their senior game Wednesday night; Alyssa Ripley, Allie Kennedy, Reilly Merrill, Rachel Guerra, Paige Karl, Maya Lewis, Annie Lamson, and Hannah Buffum. GM improves to 13-3 after the win. They jumped out to a 22-6 advantage after the first and held Woodstock to just five points combined in the second and third quarters. Karl led GM with 19 points and 8 steals. Lamson added 10 points and 8 steals. GM heads to Leland and Gray Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. tip-off.

Mount Royal 40, Pittsfield 11

The Knights’ senior guard Alexis Matte scored her 1,000th point in the win on Wednesday night as MRA held Pittsfield to just four made baskets. Matte scored 8 points while Sophie LaRose scored 14. The Knights end their regular season with a record of 14-4.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Sunapee 55, Concord Christian 43

The Lakers had four players score in double-figures in the twelve-point road win; Brady Grzanna 16 points, Sean Moynihan 13 points, Zach Belisle 12 points, Jordan Chappell 11 points. Sunapee ends a two-game losing streak as they improve to 11-4 this season, with just two games remaining.
