With the release of the New Hampshire Basketball Coaches Organization’s All-State selections on Monday, numerous local high school players were honored for their play during the 2018-19 basketball season.
The D-III runner-up Fall Mountain girls had the most local players honored by the NHBCO, including senior Zoe Utton (First Team), freshman Avery Stewart (Second Team), and sophomore Sophie Bardis (Honorable Mention).
Newport senior Selena Coronis also grabbed a D-III Honorable Mention for the Tigers.
Kearsarge senior Meg Roy was the lone-local D-II girl to be recognized, as she picked up an Honorable Mention as well.
Kearsarge also had two of their senior boys honored in D-II. Noah Tremblay was selected to the First Team All-State and Kyle Hernon was an Honorable Mention.
Fall Mountain senior Owen Marandino was selected as a D-III Honorable Mention.
And in Division 4, Sunapee junior Jordan Chappell was an Honorable Mention.
