To the editor,

The Chester-Andover Family Center’s Election Day Bake Sale on Tuesday, March 5, was a great success! We wish to thank everyone who stopped by after voting and either purchased baked goods or just made a donation.

The center is 100 percent volunteer with no paid staff. Funds raised through events such as the bake sale are used to support the center’s Food Shelf and financial assistance program. As a result, we are able to provide supplemental nutritional food to residents in Chester and Andover and also help individuals and families who are struggling financially to keep their homes warm, their lights on, and food on the table.

Thank you for supporting our mission to make a difference in our community by providing resources for financial assistance, nutritional food, affordable clothing and household goods. We are most appreciative.
