CLAREMONT — Robert Erwin Bugbee, 80, of Claremont passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Sullivan County Healthcare in Unity.
He was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont on Dec. 15, 1938 the son of Erwin C. and Ruth E. (Greene) Bugbee.
Robert had been a truck driver for many years.
He enjoyed taking pictures, watching movies, and had been a race car driver in his younger years. He had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Gale (Boyle) Bugbee whom he married on June 1, 1989; a son, Michael Harvey of North Carolina; a daughter, Valerie Bugbee; a sister, Pat Farley of Ryegate, Vermont and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, David Bugbee.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Thursday, March 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.
