CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Members of New Hampshire’s Democratic congressional delegation support the call for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to testify before Congress following the release of his redacted report on Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Congresswoman Annie Kuster said Thursday that congressional leaders should be provided with unredacted copies. She said Muller should testify so that his conclusions, including potential obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump, can be examined without the influence of the attorney general. Rep. Chris Pappas also called for the full report to be released.
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen said the report makes clear that “Russia brazenly attacked our elections,” and actions need to be taken so that it doesn’t happen again.
Sen. Maggie Hassan said, “we have yet to see an adequate response from the Trump administration to hold Russia accountable.”
