CONCORD — The New Hampshire Bankers Association (NH Bankers) is seeking nominations for its “2019 Community Banker of the Year Award.”
“We are proud of the good work New Hampshire bankers do on a regular basis to give back to our communities. Now we asking our small business owners, community members and leaders to recognize and promote a member of the banking industry who has gone above and beyond in giving back to their local community,” Kristy Merrill, N.H. Bankers president, explained.
“We are excited to announce that this year’s Community Banker of the Year will receive the honor of having Gov. Chris Sununu attend lunch with them at their bank! We are incredibly grateful to Gov. Sununu in recognizing the importance of community service and for participating in our annual award.
“We are thrilled to recognize and honor one individual who has led by example, put their community first and whose dedication has gone beyond what is expected of them.”
N.H. Bankers will contribute $500 towards the luncheon to be held at the recipient’s chosen New Hampshire branch or office location of their bank.
The 2019 Community Banker of the Year Award review panel will be made up of several leading public officials. Nominations will be submitted online outlining their recent activities and achievements along with a space dedicated for describing why they should receive the award.
The “2019 Community Banker of the Year” award will be presented at N.H. Bankers’ Annual Conference, being held Sept. 6-8.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 21. The nomination form can be found on N.H. Bankers website – look for Community Banker of the Year Award at www.nhbankers.com.
