WINDSOR, Vt. — Aaron Prosper Simoneau Jr. passed away in his sleep on April 30, 2019.
Aaron was born on Oct. 1, 1999 to Aaron Sr. and April (LeCouffe) Simoneau. He was raised with two siblings, Dylan and Kiana. Aaron attended Windsor High School where he played basketball and football. The last few years of Aaron’s life were a struggle following a tragic accident that left him bedridden.
Aaron will be remembered for his love of the Pittsburg Steelers and heavy metal music. He was lucky enough to attend four Steelers games and several concerts with his dad, who was also his best friend. Aaron made an impact on so many people with his great sense of humor, his brutal honesty and, in the last years of his life, his will to live.
Aaron leaves behind his parents, Aaron and April; his siblings, Dylan and Kiana; his paternal grandparents, Linda Gould of South Daytona, Florida and Butch Simoneau of Vermont; Steve Gould of Croydon; his maternal grandparents, Tarry Grant of Tunbridge, Vermont; Dennis and Leona LeCouffe of Windsor, Vermont; his great-grandmother, Janet Cheney of Kentucky; great-grandparents, Betty and Howard Simoneau of Newport; great-grandmother Randa Boisclair of Vermont, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
Aaron Sr. and April would like to thank everyone who helped them care for Aaron Jr. over the last few years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Windsor Legion in Windsor, Vermont. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 4 p.m. All are welcome to bring pictures, share stories and celebrate Aaron’s life. Please bring a dish if so inclined.
