N,H, nets more than 14,000 pounds of drugs

Despite cool weather, Drug Take Back Day in New Hampshire saw more than 14,000 pounds of drugs collected at more than 130 sites throughout the state.

In November of 2018 the total at more than 80 locations came in at 11,880 pounds.

According to officials, the drugs from Saturday will be transported to a secret location and burned.

In Manchester, New Hampshire’s largest city, more than 1,000 pounds of drugs were collected.

A breakdown of collection results in Sullivan County was not available on Wednesday.
