NORTH SUTTON — Dancing with the Lake Sunapee Stars is set for Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Kearsarge Regional High School Auditorium.
There will be a reception and silent auction at 5:30 p.m.
Local “Stars” and professional dancers compete.
Brian Kellogg and Renee Patten—This Kearsarge Regional High School physics teacher will be dancing the Cha Cha to “She Blinded me with Science,” amazing his students with all his dance finesse.
Rob Kier and Kristi Upton—This is Rob Kier’s auspicious return to the stage after several years off from choral performances and musical theater. In his first performance as a dancer he will be dancing the Pase Double with partner Kristi Upton.
Amber Gest Palumbo and Gary Stanhope—Amber’s 9-year-old daughter believes she is embarrassing and the furthest thing from cool. Amber is here to prove that she is the epitome of cool. Amber will be dancing the tango with her partner Gary Stanhope.
Brian Callaghan and Emily Swindell—Brian has developed a love for entertainment having performed as Peter in the local production of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Brian will be dancing jazz with partner Emily Swindell.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $25 for Center for the Arts members and $35 at the door. VIP tickets for $50 include post show VIP party on May 17th at Whipple Hall. Student tickets are also available for entry at 7 p.m. for $10.

Proceeds benefit the Center for the Arts Scholarship Fund. The online auction includes Red Sox tickets, gift certificates, trips, gift baskets, dance lessons, cultural events dining experiences, flowers, jewelry and more.
