SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Curious about living more sustainably? Wondering what it means to “live green”? Looking for advice or wanting to share what you have learned? Join us at the Springfield Town Library, Thursday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. for “Green Living – Inside and Out” with Cheryl Joy Lipton. Come share what you do to live sustainably and learn what steps to take next, or what to do to get started.
Cheryl Joy Lipton has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from SUNY ESF and a Master of Science in ecology from Penn State. She is a specialist in native plants and invasive non-natives. Lipton has been an organic gardener and has been living green for a long time, and now does so with her husband and daughter, cats, chickens and a puppy.
“Living green” is healthier for everyone. And, there’s no time like now to start being good to yourself, your family, your pets, and your environment.
