CLAREMONT — Maureen Virginia Poirier, 78, formerly of Claremont passed away May 20, 2019 at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on Dec. 31, 1940, the daughter of John J. and Katherine V. (Manning) Riordan.
Maureen was a local realtor with J&M Reality for many years and worked at Holson Burnes Company, also at the Sullivan County Nursing Home.
The family includes four children, Selena Williams and her husband Bill of Sparks, Nevada, Diane Friend and her husband Michael of Claremont, Michael Poirier and his wife Kimberly of Plainfield, Suzanne Smith and her husband Mark of White River Junction, Vermont; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Paul Riordan of Dedham, Massachusetts; one sister, Carol McDevitt of Mills, Massachusetts.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation in Maureen’s name to the Sullivan County Health Care facility in care of the MacConnell Alzheimers Dementia Care Unit.
