LUDLOW, Vt. — Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts has selected Louise Minks as this year’s featured artist. Minks will be teaching her “Paint With Freedom!” class on June 15 and 16, at the school and at various scenic areas throughout the region.
Minks is a full-time professional artist who has been painting and teaching both outdoors and in for over 30 years, often in scenic Vermont. She loves to travel and paint, to present workshops and read every art book she can get her hands on. Minks leads her students into “total immersion” art workshops – we eat, sleep, and think art the entire time! Her energetic encouragement can kick start the new or anxious painter into a whole new art world that is exciting and full of possibility.
For more information, or to register for this special class (or any other in the Fletcher Farm School schedule), see our website at www.fletcherfarm.org or call the school at (802) 228-8770. New classes are being added to the website’s schedule continuously, so check back often.
