It is a pleasure to announce that Emma Graham has been named the June Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Emma, a sophomore, is the daughter of Terry and Cynthia Graham of Rockingham.
Emma is an extremely motivated young lady. Dedicated to doing well, she works hard to get good grades. If she is not happy with her grade, she looks for feedback and works to improve her skills, so she does not make the same mistakes again. Emma works well independently in class, but she also works very well when asked to work in a group setting. She is attentive in class discussions, willing to listen with an open mind and is helpful to her peers. Always positive, she serves as a good role model both in class and out. She is friendly with others, helpful, and eager to learn new material.
Not only dedicated to her academics, Emma is involved in the BFUHS band , soccer and softball programs where she works hard and serves as a positive role model. Willing to give 100 percent in the classroom and on the field, Emma shows compassion, dedication and determination to not only improve her own skills, but to help her classmates and teammates improve theirs as well.
BFUHS and the Elks are proud to have Emma represent us as a Student of the Month.
