CLAREMONT — Our dearest “Sherry” Florence passed away peacefully on June 4 at her home in Claremont. She lived a happy, very full and often exciting life with her family and friends. She loved art, fashion, color, cooking, painting, reading, traveling, and most of all talking and listening to everyone. She was surrounded by a room full of her family and loved ones from near and far, including her two cats. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Jolene and Rodney Forsyth, Joseph and Daniele Florence, Marisa Florence and Jeff Mayo and Brandy Florence; by her grandchildren, Samira Florence, Tony Sbrocca, Samantha Florence, Sophie Florence, Cezira King, and Tyler Dillehay; by her great grandchildren, Perry Smith, Olivia Florence, Mason Sbrocca, Kobie Curtis, and Macie King. She is also survived by her siblings Dolores Elam, Patricia Homon, Raymond Dellasanta, and Audrey Batchelder. Sherry was predeceased by her husband, Richard Florence, and parents Eva and Everisto Dellasanta. As her yearbook stated in 1956: “Her friends are many, good and true; But always, she has room for you.” Forever true, know that she will always be with each and every one of you. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Winchendon, Massachusetts on Monday, June 10 at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Winchendon, Massachusetts.
