ROCKINGHAM, Vt. — The following is an additional revision of the construction to take place for the I-91 Rockingham Bridges #24N & 24S project over the Williams River for the week beginning Monday, June 10.
I-91 northbound & southbound is reduced to one lane with no shoulders within the construction zone.
I-91 northbound motorists should be aware of merging ramp traffic entering the roadway. The new northbound bridge is now open to southbound motorists.
Southbound I-91 bridge activities: Monday-Friday:
Begin removal of bridge rail
Continue removal of the existing southbound bridge deck
Work continues on SB Piers #2 & #3.
Continue installation of the southbound traffic control devices.
