UU Meetinghouse looking for event ideas

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — The UU Meetinghouse is a buzz with activity! They are delighted that they have become a space for a wider array of programs.

They have engaged in a number of projects in the past two years to keep the Meetinghouse attractive, welcoming, up-to-date, and functional. Anyone is invited to stop by and check it out at the meetinghouse open house at 21 Fairground Road, Springfield, Vermont,this Sunday, June 9, 1:30-2:30 p.m. Rev. Mellen Kennedy and Office Administrator Deb Diegoli will be on hand for conversation. The staff are especially interested to hear what’s on the public’s mind, including ideas for bringing more compassion, beauty, fun, justice and emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing to Springfield and the larger world. Light refreshments will be served.

The meetinghouse is also available for rentals. The meetinghouse can host family or organizational events in the facility. See uuspringfieldvt.org/building-rental/for more information.

What exciting programs are on the horizon? The theme for the summer is “Art Will Save Us!”. The meetinghouse is seeking input as to what the public would like to nurture or expand in Springfield and vicinity.
