WESTON, Vt. — On June 6 at 11:03 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Main Street in the Town of Weston (Windsor County), Vermont. Vermont State Police arrived on scene and observed a 1999 Jeep Cherokee at a position of controlled rest on the east side of the roadway. The vehicle appeared to have driven through a stone wall on the east side of Main Street after leaving the roadway.
During the investigation, it was determined that Dennis C. Hale, 24, of Chester, Vermont was the operator of the above vehicle. Hale was later arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Hale was transported to the Ludlow Police Department for processing.
Hale was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on June 25 at 8 a.m. to answer to the above charges.
