Our justice system needs changing

To the editor,

I just wanted to give you my thoughts on capital punishment. Gov. Sununu vetoed the attempt to abolish but the parties overturned his veto and now we have no death penalty. But did we have one before? I don’t think so. The reason the death penalty didn’t work is because they had way too much time to proceed. To fight their verdict even if they did the crime. Now in the state of New Hampshire you can kill anybody and only spend the rest of your life in prison. Now you who voted to abolish the death penalty should to pay the state money for their needs. Somewhere in this world there was a family of five. Father, mother, and three daughters. One night their house was broken into by three ex-prisoners. Now I’m not going to tell you what happened except the only one to survive was the father. If that happen to one of you who voted not to have the death penalty, what if that was your family? I know what I would do! Our justice system needs to be changed. You liberals wake up before you ruin this country.

P.S. Didn’t see many Democrats leave this country when Trump became president of the U.S.
