NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending June 8.
Charges of driving after revocation/suspension; driving under the influence April 5 in Grantham against William J. Duggan, 44, 18 Kanto Road, Newport, were withdrawn.
A charge of driving after revocation/suspension, subsequent, against Carlie E. Ballou-Sisemore, 243, 37 Glenwood Drive, Grantham, was amended to operating without a valid license and Ballou-Sisemore was fined $50 after pleading guilty.
Madison R. Safford, 20, 495 Olde Farms Road, pleaded guilty to transportation of alcoholic beverages April 6 in New London while under the age of 21 and was fined $300.
A charge of domestic violence against Zachariah Romeo, 19, 39 Beech St., Apartment A, Newport, was withdrawn. He pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $1,000. He pleaded guilty to criminal solicitation May 15 and was sentenced to two days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections and given credit for two days of pre-trial confinement.
Jasmine Kobel, 20, 58 Spofford St., Apartment 5, Claremont, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief, damaging a trestle bridge on the Sugar River Trail between the Newport Recreation Center and Oak Street and was fined $250, suspended for one year, and ordered to make restitution in the amount of $100 to the State of New Hampshire.
Ronald A. Baron, 55, 3 Dark St., Hooksett, pleaded guilty to speeds of 106 mph while in traffic and passing on the right and left of traffic April 15 on Interstate 89 in Grantham, was fined $500 and his license revoked for 60 days.
A charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration March 6 in New London was amended to suspension of the registration of a motor vehicle against Jacob M. Cheney, 18, 74 Hoyt Road, Andover. He was fined $250. He also pleaded guilty to operating after suspension and was fined $250.
A charge of possession of three-quarters of an ounce or less of marijuana April 25 in Newport against Stanley Rossi, 54, 43 Park St., Apartment 3, Newport, was placed on file without a finding.
Charges of simple assault and criminal mischief against Brooke M. Thorson, 37, 265 Prospect Hill Road, Sunapee, March 23 in Sunapee were dismissed.
A charge of domestic violence May 11 in New London against Erik A. Bullock, 30, 139 Pine Hill Road, New London, was withdrawn.
