Fountain graduates Mass School of Law

ANDOVER, Mass. — On June 7 Massachusetts School of Law held its 30th annual graduation commencement ceremonies in Andover, Massachusetts. Lauren Fountain received a Juris Doctorate Degree.

In 2018 and 2019 Lauren was chosen by Massachusetts School of Law to compete on the trial team competitions held in Boston, Mass at the John Joseph Moakley Federal District Court House. Lauren was also the vice president of the Massachusetts School of Law Student Bar Association.

Additionally, in 2018, Lauren was chosen as “Best Advocate” at Massachusetts School of Law after writing a 35-page legal brief and presenting oral arguments before three appellate court judges, arguing in favor of a court conviction on appeal to the Massachusetts Supreme Court.

In 2019, Lauren was the recipient of the Dean’s Choice Award for best exemplifying the professionalism, intelligence, caring, and diligence, that Massachusetts School of Law seeks to foster in its students in recognition of their contributions both in the classroom and the community.

Lauren is preparing to take the bar exam in July 2019 and she intends to pursue a career as a prosecutor, working for the district attorney’s office in Massachusetts.

Lauren is the daughter of Mark and Tamara Fountain of Springfield, Vermont.
