CLAREMONT — Councilor Jeremy Zullo resigned from Claremont City Council Wednesday night, saying he has taken on another business endeavor. Zullo did not attend the meeting.
“I’m unable to devote the time to the council and taxpayers that this position deserves and requires,” Zullo emailed to the council. Zullo served as a councilor at large, of which there are four: Nicholas Koloski, Claire Lessard, and Abigail Kier are also at large; Andrew O’Hearne represents Ward I, Scott Pope Ward II, and Jonathan Stone Ward III.
Zullo owns and runs Zullo Property Maintenance, LLC, a family-owned business he began in 2003.
The council will appoint someone to fill the seat until the next election. All seats on city council expire in December 2019.
