LEMPSTER — David H. Clow, 70, of Lempster, passed away on June 13, 2019, at his home. He was born in Claremont on Feb. 4, 1949, the son of Samuel and Nellie (Blanchard) Clow. Dave had served in the U.S. Army. He had been a general contractor for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. He loved spending time with his family. He had been a member of the Claremont Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife Darlene (Jarvis) Clow; children, Virginia Rines, Daniel Clow, Michael Clow and Robin Ouellette and husband John; stepchildren, Carra Meyette, Jack Partlow III and Joseph Partlow; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Murial Kempton and husband Charles, Tom Clow, Carolina Gordon and Frederick Clow; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Sunny Clow, Billy Clow and Bobby Clow; and sister Virginia Raymond. Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St. in Claremont, on Thursday, June 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. A celebration of life with military honors will follow at the Newport VFW, 118 John Stark Highway in Newport.
