Out-of-date sticker reveals suspended license

CLARENDON, Vt. — On June 24 at 3:15 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police — Rutland Barracks were conducting a directed patrol on US Route 7, in the town of Clarendon, Vermont. A motor vehicle stop was initiated for an inspection sticker violation. A Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record check indicated the operator, Gordon Jacobs, 33, of Chester, Vermont was operating with a criminally suspended license.

Jacobs was released on citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on Sept. 23 at 8:30 a.m.
