STOCKBRIDGE, Vt. — On June 24 at 6:06 p.m., Vermont State Police responded to a report of an over-turned green canoe submerged in the White River in the area of 6472 VT Route 107 in Stockbridge. It is believed the canoe became dislodged from the bank and floated down the river. Troopers spoke with people along the river’s edge, but nobody had witnessed anything out of the ordinary.
