WILMOT – My, oh my, it doesn’t get much better than pie for breakfast! The Wilmot Community Association (WCA) will hold its ninth annual Pie Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 13 at the Red Barn, 64 Village Road in Wilmot.
The popular breakfast will feature hot and cold, savory and sweet pies plus bacon, sausage, beverages, fruit and baked goodies. The cost of this fun-filled and delicious event is $10 for adults; $5 for children 6 to 12; and free for children 5 and under or over 100. Gluten free options will be available.
If you would like to donate a pie (or two) or other baked goods to the breakfast, please contact Amber Gove, event organizer and WCA board member. You can call or text Amber at (603) 748-1684 or email her at [email protected]. “This event would not be possible without the contributions of many fine bakers. We can’t thank them enough for their delicious help,” said Amber.
The WCA was established in 1963. Throughout the year, the not-for-profit sponsors and co-sponsors free and low cost entertainment, recreation and educational activities for families, adults and seniors. The WCA owns and operates the Red Barn, a community center on Village Road, and Timothy Patten Park, a beach and playground on Shindagan Road in Wilmot. In addition to community events, the Red Barn is available for rent for private events and parties.
