NEWPORT — The Newport Board of Selectmen accepted four resignations from members of the Recreation Advisory Council, Conservation Commission and Heritage Commission and made seven appointments.
They were Kassy Matz-Helie and Amanda Kraft from the Recreation Advisory Council; Kristen Kilfoyle Boffo, Conservation Commission and Cathryn Baird, Heritage Commission.
Appointments included John Merriman and Harold Yanofsky, Airport Advisory Board for three years; Kenneth Dennis, Conservation Commission, three years; Jacqueline Cote, Heritage Commission, three years; Raymond Kibbey and Kenneth Merrow, Planning Board for three years and David Kibbey, alternate Planning Board member for three years.
Selectboard chairman Jeff Kessler said there are still openings on the Airport Advisory Board, Capital Improvements Program, Conservation Commission, Heritage Commission, Planning Board and Recreation Advisory Council.
