Selectboard Chair Kristi Morris observed that the overall 2019-2020 tax rate represents the smallest increase in many years. He cited tight control of operating costs, strong community support for infrastructure improvements, and the town-wide reappraisal as contributing to the stabilization of the grand list, which reversed the grand list declines of recent years.
