Lempster set to celebrate on Aug. 9-11

LEMPSTER — Lempster Old Home Days will be held on Aug. 9-11.

“Mark your calendar and plan to spend your weekend with us featuring a parade, food, music, vendors, local business showcase, animals, historic talks and tours and a Firemen’s Muster,” a spokesperson said.

Friday, Aug. 9

5 p.m.—Ham and Bean Supper, History Hall

Saturday, Aug. 10

7-9 a.m.—Pancake Breakfast, firehouse

11 a.m.—Parade, Lempster Street

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.—Vendors, food trucks, music

Noon—Beat the Fire Chief, kids 1k fun run

Noon—Kids bubble pit

1 p.m.—Magic show

2 p.m.—Glimpses of Lempster history talk

3 p.m.—Fireman’s Muster, includes neighboring departments

4:30-7 p.m.—Pulled pork supper, firehouse

7 p.m.—Lempster’s Got Talent Show, Meeting House

Sunday. Aug. 11

1 p.m.—How to clean and repair gravestones, History Hall
