RAYMOND — The Lakers and Rams started the match trading points back and forth. With the score 12-10, sophomore outside hitter Molly Reed went the service line and the Lakers took off. The Rams stopped the run at 19-11 but the Lakers pushed to win 25-14.
The second set was much the same as the first, with the Lakers taking a lead of 20-10 but this time the Rams battled back. The Lakers held off the Rams surge and won the set 25-20.
The Lakers came out strong in set 3 with great serving by Senior middle Maddie Blewitt, freshman middle Emma McNallly, and again by Reed. The Lakers won the final set 25-10.

The JV Lakers lost in 3 sets 19-25, 25-15, 14-16.
The 8-7 Varsity Lakers host the 5-10 Varsity Eagles of Portsmouth Christian Academy on Friday. This will be the final match of the regular season for both teams.
