CLAREMONT — The following building permits were approved in recent months by the Claremont Planning Office:

Charles B. Duncan, 25 McCusker Place, build a ramp to the front door of the house.

Pine Hill Mobile Home Court Inc., 12 Eric Place, new mobile home set-up on vacant lot; plumbing for new mobile home install and connect electrical service for new mobile home install.

Edward Sr. and Michael Johnson, 28 Ellis Lane, add a handicap bedroom and bathroom to house.

Brian L. White, 47 Ellis Lane, strip old shingles, underlayment and flashing, install new synthetic underlayment ice and water shield, drip edge.

Mark and Holly Carrier, 14 Maria St., refroof entry step roof.

George and Yvette Poisson, 30 Citizen St., remove existing ramp and install new ramp that is less steep.

Renee T. Davis, 3 Grandview St., remove damaged ceiling on front porch and install new drywall.

Claremont Development Authority, 46-54 Opera House Square, the work includes landlord improvements allowing for tenant occupancy at the third floor of the Farwell Block Building; construction of a common elevator to facilitate access to the third floor of Farwell Block as well as 56 Opera House Square; installation of underground electrical and communications services for new utility infrastructure to be built by the local utility (Eversource).
