UNITY — William Richard Heino Sr., 68, of Unity, died on Nov. 2, 2019, at home, after brief, failing health. He was born Nov. 9, 1950, the son of Tyyne and Kalervo Heino Sr. William worked at Coca Cola and Sportwelt Shoe when he was younger. Bill also worked at Dorr Woolen, Gloenco Machine and later, established the business, Heino & Son Logging. Members of the surviving family include his wife of 49 years Rosemary (Jennings) Heino; sons, William R. Heino Jr. and wife Erika, and Richard Heino and companion Joyce Wood; grandchildren, Honi Kainu and husband John Kainu, Adam Daniels, Nickolas Heino and Emily Heino; great-grandchildren, Johanna Kainu and Anderson Watson; brothers, Kalervo Heino Jr. and wife Patricia and Arthur Heino Sr. and companion Shannon; sisters, Martha Jennings, Bertha Austin, Tyyne Cox and husband Wilbur, and Barbara Tatro; sister in-law Audrey Shepard; brothers-in-law, Joseph Jennings and George Jennings; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Heino and Tammy Heino; and brothers-in-law, Robert Shepard and Edwin L. Jennings Jr. Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
