We told you it was coming! Sure enough, a huge gobble, gobble turkey was spotted on Maple Avenue. Guess it was as inevitable as the falling leaves and snowfall in New England. We have yet to find a way to keep those leaves in the trees. Someone suggested we glue them up. Mmmm… But the cold weather lures us into the cozy chairs with a good book and maybe covered with that afghan you made. You could clean that closet you have been wanting to do. Okay, that statement was all wrong! But you could try that new recipe.
Special Notice: If you are walking in or near the woods, please remember to wear red or orange. The hunting season has started. We do not want to lose any of our seniors.

Our cribbage and chess sessions have several players signed up. As soon as we can determine a mutual time, we will begin both. Hang in there! Here again, after the learners learn the rules and are comfortable with play, anyone can come in and play anytime. Boards, cards and sets are available to use Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday nights — game nights – from 6-9, and Senior Sundays from 1-4. Please come in and play. We are here for you.
Coming Soon! We will be making a survey available for both day trips and overnighters for the coming year. We hope you will be pleased with the choices. Just fill it out — no signature required — and return it to the Center. The second will be a Clip and Save sheet that will have the schedule for the week at the Center. Although it may not contain all the specials, it will give you the days and times of the activities we offer. This is a good fridge item. When you get bored, we have something for you.
We will make both of these available at the reception desk.
