Who is best qualified to lead us?

Who is best qualified to lead us?

While the field of Democratic presidential contenders is still crowded, one candidate stands out from the pack: Cory Booker. Cory Booker’s recent campaign appearance at Dartmouth underscored his ability to connect with an audience, especially young voters who must be mobilized to win back the White House.

A graduate of Stanford, a Rhodes Scholar and a Yale-educated lawyer, Cory showed the crowd that he is not just a powerful speaker, but also a candidate with the unique ability to unite our country and take on the complex global problems we face. In his remarks and in his answers, it was clear that above all, Cory is a fierce advocate for justice and opportunity for all.

From his proposal — unique in this Democratic field — to address the problem of child poverty here in New Hampshire to his consistent support for reproductive freedom nationwide, Cory brings strong policy platforms and a long history of winning tough battles to this primary campaign. But he also has something others don’t: a deep commitment and a focus on bringing us together as a nation to take on the challenges ahead, and a message of unity that has been sorely lacking from this administration.

Cory’s courageous empathy and undeniable charisma distinguish him from others who are running. As Cory himself has said, “People want somebody who can excite the whole electorate, who can energize and heal this country.” That is the person I saw at Dartmouth and exactly what I want in a candidate, and why I’m proud to support Cory in this race.

If you’re looking for a candidate who has integrity, is level-headed and well-spoken, knows how to be a team player and is an experienced leader who will fight for us — look no further. You name it, Cory’s got it.
