NEW LONDON — Lena M. (Romagnoli) Kiefer, 80, of Parkside Road, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at the New London Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, on April 23, 1939, the daughter of Adamo and Annunziata (Moroni) Romagnoli. She spent her early years in Phillipsburg and most of her adult life in Easton, Pennsylvania, until moving to New London one year ago. Lena loved to travel, visiting locations such as Africa, Egypt, Ushuaia, Argentina, Galapagos and Northern Canada. She was very proud of her Italian ancestry. Lena enjoyed sewing, quilting, and was an avid reader. Her husband Theodore died in 1998. She was also predeceased by daughters, Colleen and Lisa; and siblings, Elaine Peroni of Phillipsburg and Amedio Romagnoli of Easton. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Robert Clemons of Millersville, Maryland, and Laura Kiefer and Gary Stanhope of Elkins; a brother and his wife, Bruno and Frances Romagnoli of Easton; nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Raubsville Cemetery, Raubsville, Pennsylvania.
