Bonnie L. Flint SUNAPEE — Bonnie L. (Fortune) Flint passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Nov. 18, 2019, at the age of 70. Bonnie was born on Dec. 23, 1948, in Newport, to the late Lester and Ilona (Wiggins) Fortune. After graduating from Towle High School, she went to Keene State College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education. She then taught at Towle and Richards Schools for over 40 years. Bonnie was a fabulous cook and enjoyed hosting celebrations for family and friends. She loved the beach, especially Dewey Beach, and was passionate about Sunapee sports. Bonnie ran an organized household, but always made time to show her children and grandchildren how deeply loved they were. She also had a special place in her heart for her dog, Quasimodo. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents. Surviving family members include her husband of 48 years David Flint of Sunapee; her children, Scott Flint and wife Katie of Sunapee, Kellee McLean and husband Derek Saari of Rindge and Cory Flint and wife Renee of Sunapee; siblings, Lester Fortune Jr. and wife Jan of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Connie Hardy and husband Charles Hurburgh of Ames, Iowa; grandchildren, Maxwell McLean, Harper Flint, Samuel Flint, Jonah Flint and Finnegan Flint; nieces, Francine Davis and Sara Miller; and many extended family members. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at 3 p.m. at the Newport South Congregational Church with a reception to follow.
