CLAREMONT — Rural Outright, a community program of TLC Family Resource Center, has announced Rural PRIDE 2020 will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday June 19-21, 2020.
Rural PRIDE is a free annual event hosted by Rural Outright bringing together and celebrating the area’s diverse LGBTQ+ community. Rural PRIDE is back in 2020 and bigger than ever, featuring events across the Twin States for a full weekend of PRIDE!
“We are so excited for Rural PRIDE 2020! Rural PRIDE started as a grassroots effort to bring visibility and empowerment to the LGBTQ+ community and it’s amazing opportunity to be able to expand this event going into our third year and bring two states together for a weekend of PRIDE. We have some really exciting things in the works, and we’ll be making announcements over the coming months” said Matt Mooshian, Chair of the Rural Outright program committee.
Rural PRIDE 2020, a cross state PRIDE weekend, includes the return of the Rural PRIDE Festival on Saturday June 20 at Barnes Park in Claremont.
Rural PRIDE 2020 is presented in partnership with LGBTQ+ & Allies of Windsor, a community organizing group who put together a PRIDE for their community last year.
TLC Family Resource Center supports and strengthens all families, children, and youth with a wide range of free programs, support groups, education, and events.
