CLAREMONT — Rural PRIDE 2020, the first cross-state PRIDE weekend between communities in New Hampshire and Vermont, is now seeking vendors for the third annual PRIDE Festival in Barnes Park in Claremont, scheduled for Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The Rural PRIDE Festival at Barnes Park draws hundreds of attendees from across New England for an afternoon of celebration, reflection, & community,” said Matt Mooshian, of Rural Outright, a LGBTQ+ youth support group based in Claremont.
Vendor space is open to queer & allied crafters, nonprofits, businesses, and more. This year there is a $25 vendor fee which will go directly to cover event costs and then help underwrite Rural Outright programs throughout the year.
Rural PRIDE 2020 will be a three-day celebration, with events scheduled in Claremont and Windsor, Vt. The weekend kicks off Friday, June 19, 2020, and ends Sunday, June 21. The Rural PRIDE festival, held on Saturday, is the signature event. a
Mooshian stated that vendors interested in signing up for the 2020 Rural PRIDE Festival may sign up by visiting the TLC Family Resource Center website at tlcfamilyrc.org/ruralPRIDE. For additional questions, contact Mooshian at [email protected].
