NEWPORT — Hailey K. Wetherbee will be joining Summercrest as its new Executive Director

Hailey comes to Summercrest with more than 15 years’ experience in long-term care and senior housing, with nine years’ experience in administrative roles.

Hailey’s love for working with the elderly began when as a child she accompanied her grandmother to volunteer in memory care environments providing music and companionship.

From there she went on to explore opportunities in dining services, recreation therapy, and nursing before finally completing her training to be a nursing home administrator.

Hailey is licensed as a nursing home administrator in both New Hampshire and Maine, and holds degrees in culinary arts, health services management and business.

She is a resident of Canaan, where she lives with her husband Hue and two children. She enjoys the arts, gardening, and spending time with her many animals.

Hailey is excited to join Summercrest as it begins its expansion and remodel and looks forward to serving the broader Newport community.
