NEWPORT — Marjorie Louise (Fisher) Bell, 62, of Newport, passed away suddenly at home on Nov. 23, 2019. She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, on Feb. 6, 1957, the daughter of Barbara A. (Barnes) and John K. Fisher. She grew up in Holbrook, Massachusetts, graduated from Holbrook High School and was currently working for Hypertherm in Hanover. Marge loved playing her keyboard, making quilts and sewing but mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Marge was predeceased by her parents, Barbara and John Fisher of Sunapee; and her sister Linda C. (Fisher) Robinson of Duxbury, Massachusetts. She is survived by her husband Lari Bell of Newport; son Derrick DiMaggio and wife Heidi of Sunapee; son Casey Bell and wife Bonnie of Missoula, Montana; sister Janet Fitzgerald and husband John of Harwich, Massachusetts; brother John Fisher Jr. and wife Diane of Pittsburg; and her three precious grandchildren, Payton, Brooklynn and Declan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kristen, Tom, Dan, Becca and Josh; grandnieces and grandnephews, KJ, James, Kendall, Rylie, Chase, Kayla, Alexis and Fiona. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at 11 a.m. in Eastman Cemetery on North Road in Sunapee. The family requested that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to either CHAD (Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth) or the American Heart Association. Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
