NEWPORT — A Small Business Resource Roundtable will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Sugar River Community Room, 20 North Main St., Newport.
Participants will be able to hear about the advantages of being in an Opportunity Zone and how it can benefit their business and community.
The group will also discuss workforce and other challenges that affect businesses and what resources may be able to help.
Representatives from the Local Economic Development Office, DSBA and resource partners, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and USDA Rural Development, New Hampshire Business and Economic Affairs, New Hampshire Housing Authority, River Valley Community College, Capital Regional Development Council and more will be on hand to give an overview of their programs and resources.
Before and after the roundtable discussion there will be an opportunity to network from 4:30-5 p.m. and7-7:30 p.m. to ask any specific questions that you have.
This event is free but participants must register as limited seats are available.
