For a few days last week everyone watching the weather on television locked in on the major storm coming across the country. And the script turned out to be perfect in timing, at lease.
Some areas of New Hampshire picked up more snow than the forecast projected while others came up on the short side. It was definitely a tale of two storms, however. When the first half moved out there was a lull of several hours and the second spurt showed up.
It make plenty of sense to shovel or snowplow after the first storm on Monday and then resting for a night before heading back out for a second fling on at clearing walkways and driveways on Tuesday. The sun was most welcome on Tuesday afternoon.
