Stevens, 64-26
CLAREMONT — The Stevens girls opened their season with an easy 64-26 victory over Souhegan Friday night.
Sydney Miller led the Cardinal attack with 18 points followed by Abigail Faro and Alyssa Paquette with 12 points each.
Stevens enjoyed a 25-point lead heading into the fourth period.
The Stevens jayvees whipped Souhegan in the preliminary contest, 64-8.
Windsor, 64-25
WINDSOR — The Newport girls fell to 1-2 after dropping a 64-25 decision to Windsor, 1-0, Friday night.
Newport opened with a 4-0 lead but that quickly disappeared as the Yellow Jackets took control of the action with a crushing defense.
Bruce McKay’s team built up a commanding 42-18 halftime lead over the Tigers and coasted to victory.
Olivia Rockwood paced the Windsor attack with 13 points followed by Adi Prior, 8 points, and Angilina Bigwood and Evelyn Page, scored 7 points each. Ten Windsor players contributed to the scoring column. Alexis Quimby tallied 8 points.
Windsor copped the jayvee contest, 20-12. Olivia Kelly led Windsor with 6 points. Newport was led by Tayna Sanchez, 6 points, and Zeta Morris, 5 points.
Windsor will host Thetford Academy in a 3:30 p.m. contest on Saturday. Newport’s Tuesday night trip to Fall Mountain was snowed out.
Sunapee, 46-39
NEWMARKET — Kelsey Couitt pumped in 15 points; Abby Pollari scored 11 and added 7 steals and 7 rebounds and Vanessa Pollari chipped in with 10 points and 6 rebounds as Sunapee improved to 3-1 with a 46-39 victory over Newmarket on Dec. 13.
Fall Mountain, 81-6
LANGDON — Fall Mountain improved to 1-1 with an easy 81-6 victory over Winnisquam Friday night. The Wildcat bench saw plenty of action in this game.
Monday, Dec. 16
Sunapee 58-26
SUNAPEE — Led by Abby Pollari’s 18 points and 5 rebounds, Sunapee downed Mount Royal Monday night, 58-26.
Elizabeth Tschudin had a big night with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Vanessa Pollari connected for 10 point and pulled down 5 rebounds.
Sunapee iced the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Royals, 20-7.

Monday, Dec. 16
Windsor, 78-40
WINDSOR — Owen Abrahamsen connected for 22 points and John Cook III added 15 to lead Windsor to a 78-40 victory Monday night in the season opener for both teams.
Will Cross led the Newport offense with 17 points and Sean Moody added 7.
Tuesday night’s Fall Mountain at Newport game was postponed.
